The Horsegirl: Fascinating Things You Didn’t Know About Ayla Kristine

Ayla Kristine, a girl from Norway, has pursued a rather unusual dream since she was just four years old: she wanted to be an animal. Her first admiration was for dogs, and she would imitate them by walking on all fours. But as she grew older, she found herself increasingly fascinated by horses, particularly their grace and elegance. This was partly inspired by the horses in Jonathan Swift’s Gulliver's Travels, which left a lasting impression on her. Swift’s depiction of the Houyhnhnms, intelligent and perfect horses, sparked a deeper connection in Ayla to these majestic creatures.

Her passion grew beyond mere admiration. Over the years, she worked hard to transform herself into a horse-like being, engaging in rigorous training. Today, Ayla can gallop with ease and even jump over obstacles, emulating the graceful movements of a horse. What's truly fascinating is that, despite her transformation, Ayla is still a completely ordinary human girl in many ways. She has the same emotions, aspirations, and abilities as any other person. However, she does not neigh like a horse, eat oats, or sleep standing up, maintaining her human identity while mastering the physical skills of a horse.
