Ahead of the premiere of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills season 14, Erika Jayne, 53, revealed that while every cast member (except for Kathy Hilton) is single, fans shouldn’t expect any new romances to develop on the show. "We’re all so self-obsessed," she told Us Weekly in an exclusive interview. "I mean, I am out here living my life. It would be nice to date and do fun things."

Erika confirmed that she remains single, joking that any eligible bachelors are welcome to reach out to her. She also shared what she’s looking for in a partner: "You got to be intelligent, and you have to be able to have a conversation. I need a good conversation." The Pretty Mess author emphasized that she "cannot" communicate solely through text, adding, "I need to know that you are an intelligent human being that can have a back-and-forth conversation."

Discussing dating with her castmates, Erika mentioned Sutton Stracke as "the matchmaker" of the group, while noting that Garcelle Beauvais knows everyone but isn’t helping the others out. Sutton, meanwhile, has turned to dating apps. "I’m just now feeling like I’m healthy enough to go out and be myself and not crumble," Erika explained. "No, we’re single. We’re out here."

Erika also shared that shooting season 14 of RHOBH was a positive experience for her, saying, "We had a good time shooting it. I mean, not everybody, but I did." She added that her strategy for dealing with drama was to "stay neutral," particularly when it came to the feud between Dorit Kemsley and Kyle Richards. "I was not aware at how much had been bubbling under the surface for both of them," she admitted.

Season 14 of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills premiered with a supersized episode on Tuesday, November 19, at 8 p.m. ET on Bravo, with streaming available the following day on Peacock.
